School Improvement Plan

2025-26

Goal 1

  • By June of SY26, students with disabilities in grades 3-5 will decrease the failure rate by 10% as measured by the Spring reading and math SOL assessments. (Projected pass rate for reading – 68% Projected pass rate for math – 71%)

  • By June of SY26, the 15 students with disabilities in third grade reading will increase as measured by the Spring VALLS reading assessment

Goal 2

By June SY26, students in fourth grade will increase their overall math pass rate from 77% to 85% as measured by the Spring SOL math assessment.

Goal 3

  • By the end of SY26, the 21.96% (67/305) of students in grades K-3 in a high-risk Band according to the VALLS assessment will decrease by 15%.   
  • By the end of the 2025–2026 school year, the percentage of students passing the Standards of Learning (SOL) assessments in 3-5th grade reading will increase from an 85.63% to a 90% combined pass rate as measured by Spring Reading SOL assessment.

Goal 4

By June of SY26, MLL students’ growth will increase from 66.66% to 70% as measured by the Fall ACCESS proficiency levels.

Goal 5

By the end of the academic year, reduce the total number of office discipline referrals by at least 10%, decreasing from 351 to 316 or fewer, through the implementation of proactive behavior supports, consistent expectations, and staff professional development in classroom management strategies.
